Aloo Masala

Ingredients

2 potatoes
1 onion
2 tbsp lime juice
4 green chillies
2-3 cilantro stems
1/2 tsp chana dal
1/2 tsp urad dal
1 tsp mustard seeds
1/2 tsp cumin seeds
1/4 tsp turmeric powder
Pinch of hing
6-8 curry leaves
1 tbsp oil

Directions

Cut the potatoes in half and boil for 6-8 mins

After boiling, they should be soft enough to poke a knife through

Peel and cut the potatoes

Heat up a pan and add the oil

Add chana dal, urad dal, mustard seeds, cumin seeds, turmeric powder, hing

Saute

Add the onions, curry leaves, chillies and mix

Add salt and mix

Cook with the lid on until onions are soft

Add potato and cilantro and mix
