Boondi Ladoo

Boondi Ladoo is a cherished Indian sweet that captivates palates with its exquisite blend of flavors and delicate texture. Ingredients

6 cups besan
3 cups sugar
1 1/2 cup water
2 crushed cardamom pods
Pinch of saffron

Directions

Put the sugar in a pot and set aside

Add the besan to a bowl

Add 1/2 cup water while mixing

The besan should become a batter consistency

Prepare a pan for deep frying and get a boondi spoon

Hold the spoon over the oil and pour batter into the spoon

Shift the batter around in the spoon so all of it falls through

Fry the boondi until it is gold

Add 1 cup water to the sugar and boil

Add the cardamom pods and mix

Add the saffron and boil again

The sugar syrup should be gold and have string consistency

Add the boondi to the sugar syrup

Take the boondi out when all the sugar syrup is absorbed

Make the boondi into ladoos and put them on a drying rack
